The Mezzana cross country ski trail winds along a 6 km route going through Pellizzano and Mezzana. The first stretch of the trail, some 150 metre long, winds along the river Noce and past typical rural houses (the so-called masi), followed by a short descent down to a plane known as "pont delle Caore". Past a short way uphill, the trail enters the Pellizzano area, where it continues mostly flat all along the river Noce. Around the fourth kilometre begins a slightly more demanding stretch that, with little height drops and gentle ups and downs, gets to a chain of hairpin bends and back to the starting point.
